Starving Artist: We Should Say Thanks More Often

Dear readers...

My name is Emma. I am a young and enthusiastic artist still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Most kids have that crap figured out when they're 7, but as I've discovered the hard way, it's not that easy when you get older. As my elders tell me, I have "plenty of time" to figure things out. I don't think that's the case. In the short life that we live, my biggest fear is not living it to the fullest. Why worry about what I haven't done later when I can just figure out what I need to do now? I'm sure it's not that simple, nothing in life ever is. But my procrastinative (is that a word?) personality tells me to just let it be and it will fall into place. Hopefully that happens soon before I have to put it in place myself. This blog has no goal or desired outcome (same thing). It is simply a place to put all of my thoughts, writings, photos, and whatever the hell I want on one page. Finally, something truly simple. Enjoy.
